LexMetalUndergroundAustria The Cover says "Thrash Metal" ,but fortunately I am able to read. After the opening song "Behead" told me to DIE! in the most metal way possible, I knew I had to get this.
The band promises US Metal in the vein of Omen and very early Savatage, and they goddamn deliver it!!!

Giorgos Manousakis It's just an amazing album. "Arise Chariot" and "The Serpent King", are my favorite tracks.
Favorite track: The Serpent King.

last vinyl before doomsday Awesome Greek traditional metal that's heavily inspired by the USPM side of things. Think Jag Panzer and Omen, with a gruff vocal style that makes you feel like riding into battle!

jn707 This album sets the bar. This is everything Greek metal could and should be. The singer is amazing. The music is sort of like NWOBHM with testosterone injections. Ancient Warrior music at it's finest! I can't think of any good reason why the band decided to replace that amazing singer. His sound was unique ,raw and powerful.The bad karma definitely comes through on there second album. (Redeemer) Only two good songs ( Rancor and agony and Way back home.)😭 Favorite track: Guilotine.

So I can't leave a long enough review to say everything I want. But I will say this, I love this EP. It's a great little follow up to times, and has just enough of a dynamic shift in sound to prove that Smoulder isn't a one trick pony with their first album's formula. This one really plays up the 70s prog aspects (DUST and Manilla Road influences definitely shine through even harder here). It's still Smoulder, don't get me wrong. Just a different side in some ways, all of which are good. playfulpooka
